This photo shows the original problem present on most Navy ships (Right) and a chair equipped with DeckMates (Left). DeckMates are designed to replace the time consuming process of cutting open tennis balls and placing them on chairs to prevent them from sliding around and scratching ship decks. Our product also solves the unsightly appearance of bright green tennis balls on Navy Ships. DeckMates features two interlocking pieces - a top fixed caster part and a bottom replaceable felt covered piece. The affordable bottom part can be replaced annually, or as needed, while more expensive top part with zinc plated stud, bronze screw receptacle, and durable impact resistant plastic can be kept forever... even if you get a new chair! The top assembly is extremely durable. As part of our product testing, we took a hammer to it for over 100 swings and could not get it to bend, break, or shatter. We had to run over it 25 times with a Jeep Grand Cherokee just to get it to bend a little bit. Even at that, our test sample held its structure and remains fully functional. |

| 4 Point DeckMates |

Four point DeckMates are for four legged metal Navy chairs. To install, use our Glide Remover to easily remove the old broken glides (if they still exist). Then use a rubber mallet to firmly insert the new glide. The DeckMate swivels and rotates to allow even wear and to account for the various angles of contact between chair legs and the deck surface. This also allows the unit to remain sturdy if the chair occupant leans forward or backward in the chair. Once the felt base pad becomes worn it can easily be unscrewed and replaced with standard replacement.

| DeckMates Outfitted Chair On A Navy Ship |
 |
The Navy Chair felt casters install onto virtually any normal office chair in seconds. Simply remove the ordinary wheeled casters and replace with the navy chair felt casters. The process is so easy that you may even want to use normal casters when in port and Navy Chair felt casters when underway. Once the felt pads wear out, they are just as easy to replace. Simply unscrew the old pads by hand and screw the replacement pads into the top caster piece. |
